3/20 Build the Best Electromagnet

Based on my results I found this combination makes the strongest electromagnet:
Current- DC
Wire Material- Copper
Wire Gauge- Thick
Winds- 100
I chose this combination because it picked up the most fillings compare to the other combinations I was given. This electromagnet picked up 500 fillings out of 500 fillings which is 120 more than the next strongest, DC Current, Copper, Thick, and 76 winds (refer to the chart/data). Looking at my data Copper was the strongest material with Aluminum trailing not to far behind and lastly String picking up nothing because it is an insulator not a conductor. The more winds, as you can see on the chart, enables the electromagnet to pick up more fillings, more winds = more power.  Even though more winds = more power a thicker wire allows an electromagnet to pick up more fillings too, more thickness = more power. As well as that, DC current is stronger because it flows in a full circle unlike AC current. As you can see this is why I pick Current- DC, Wire Material- Copper, Wire Gauge- Thick, and Winds- 100 as the most powerful electromagnet.

To understand the food system and how it works, we went through the system of apples and how they can be wasted in each step. The apples are produced and they can be wasted when they are eaten by insects. Due to this, they can't sell, so the farmers throw the apples away. Next, the apples are harvested. If apples have fallen on the ground or are not up to standard the farmers throw them away, even though they are perfectly fine. After that, the apples are washed and waxed to look appealing to customers. During this step, apples are wasted if the they are ruined while waxing. Some apples are then processed into different food items, such as pie filling, apple sauce and more. If people mess up during this conversion, the apple product gets thrown away.
