I was working on my soda can holder with my group when I was surprised.  I was shocked to see the variety of different inventions each team had.  I was very amazed at the variety of ideas because normally our class has quite the same ideas. From this I learned that your class or co-workers may have out of the box ideas when you least expect it.  Ex. You have to engineer a new football with your co-workers. You decide to each make your own and then decide which is the best and fine tune it. All of your ideas vary so much you decide to take some ideas from each and make the best football.

Surprise- I had just taken out my pencil when I was surprised. What shocked me was when Mrs. Garcia told us we get to choose between Marco the Pencil or Zondle for both classes. I was surprised because normally 5A gets perks (they got to make their own sports game and we had to write an essay). I learned that sometimes you may have the upside or the downside, but make the best of it. Ex. 5A went to ELA first and they had to make a choice for both classes. They had to choose between playing kahoot or making a video to study for the test. They voted for making a video. When 5B went to ELA they were upset because they wanted to play kahoot. 5B made the best of it and chose how to study for the next test.

Surprise: As I was getting my notebook ready, Mrs.Garcia surprised me.  Mrs.Garcia told us that we wouldn't have Friday to work on our electrical inventions. It surprised me because I didn't think I could finish my project within three days. I learned that for certain things you may have to work with a short time period. Ex. Sally's boss gives her a week to make a presentation. The next day she finds out she only has two days. She squeezes in time and makes a new schedule. She gets the presentation in on time.
