11/ 7 Jaguar

Summary :
I learned about jaguars' diet, behavior, and adaptations. They eat monkeys, sloths, ocelots, frogs, snakes, and anything else they can catch.  Jaguars usually live near a source of water, they live by themselves, and they are usually nocturnal(active at night) , but some are crepuscular(active at dawn and dusk). Jaguars have adapted to different sources of water, they have short limbs and a tough jaw to catch prey, and jaguars are able to climb trees in case the rainforest gets flooded.I learned that even if one animal in the food web dies everything will become extinct.

Backward-Looking :
In the third grade my assignment was to write a report about black bears that was very similar, but not exact to what I did about jaguars.  One difference is that it was not done electronically.  Another difference is that I presented my black bear report.  One similarity was as I was searching for the different categories it didn't show me what I was searching for. I changed the key words and I eventually got the answers.

Inward-Looking :
This week when I was searching for facts about jaguars I had a tough time finding what I was looking for. I tried rearranging and using different keywords. It took a while, but eventually I got all the information I needed.  It took longer than I thought it would.  In the end it was worth the time and effort.
