China should not build any more hydroelectric dams along the Jinsa or Yangtze River. Building the Three Gorges Dam disrupted the ecosystem and caused many environmental problems. It caused damage to the wildlife, surrounding people, and somewhat the river. Due to the dam, millions had to leave their homes and families with very little or no financial help. Mostly farmers were forced to leave the comfortable homes and farm where the land was not as good. Many historical treasures and archeological digging sites were ruined because of the dam. Treasures from original Chinese cultures can now never be found. The Three Gorges Dam disrupted the environment and people. The wildlife in the Yangtze River and the surrounding people were greatly affected by the Three Gorges Dam, but not in a good way.
